Clubhouse Hire

 

Little Bowden Bowling Club is situated on the Kettering Road, within five minutes walk of the Town Centre. The Club has been established for over a hundred years, but the current Clubhouse has only existed since 2001. The new building is a state of the art bowls pavilion and the financing of the building was assisted by a Sports England Lottery Grant.

 

The Club provides a number of unique opportunities for those wishing to hire the facility. It has a secure car park capable of accommodating up to 30 cars.

 

The entire facility is on a level flat area and is completely accessible to all disabled persons, it contains fully compliant disabled toilet facilities and easy access throughout.

 

The Clubroom itself is 13m x 7m (43ft x 23ft) and is capable of seating up to 64 people for meals or 80 people for meetings and conferences. The Clubroom has a clean and simple appearance with heavy duty fabric curtains covering all of the double glazed external windows and doors. Heavy duty vinyl strip flooring, having a wood grain effect covers the floor, and the walls and ceiling are plaster painted in neutral shades.

 

There is a kitchen attached to the room, containing electric hobs and ovens, hot water boilers, sinks and drainers etc which can be separately hired if required.

 

A fully licensed bar opens up on to the Clubroom, should this be required. The bar is well stocked. However, if there should be any specific drink requirements needed we will endeavour to do our best to meet your needs.

 

For summer lettings the Club has high level circular fans to keep the air circulating and two double doors opening out to the bowling green surrounds, which provide a cool and pleasant environment.

 

In the winter months we have high level electric blower heaters which provide a good, quick response heating system.

 

We have hosted many events in the past few years and have considerable experience in meeting the needs of people requiring this slightly smaller amenity.
